Assistant manager / FoH 2IC (Hillside Kitchen & Cellar)

Hillside Kitchen & Cellar is looking for an amazing hospitality professional to be part of our team.

We are currently recruiting for a senior level server at Hillside Kitchen, with room to grow into a managerial role. The ideal candidate is passionate and motivated, and aims to develop their career in hospitality.

About the role:

*The role is varied and encompasses a wide range of duties.

*A minimum of one year experience in a quality environment is required
*A knowledge and high level of intrigue when it comes to food in a New Zealand context is a must.

*Experience, some knowledge, and interest in wine is recommended
*An engaging personality with great customer rapport is required
*Strong levels of communication are a must.
*Must be able to work evenings and weekends

*Experience making coffee is preferred
*A professional, motivated and hardworking attitude is needed.
*A Managers Certificate would be advantageous but not necessary

* Candidate should have a desire to grow and develop their hospitality skills, and an intent to remain in the industry

This is a Sous chef level position, perfect for a CDP looking to step up or current sous looking for a new role. 
Must have a few years experience and be comfortable in all sections of a restaurant kitchen.
